“Just in Case”

Another thing that bugs me is people who fight those “just in case” causes.

People who feel the need to pipe up over something YOU or SOMEONE ELSE says about anything “JUST IN CASE” it might reflect something that “they” do not agree with.

yes yes.. I’ll elaborate.

Tracy Morgan (Comedian & Actor on 30 Rock) had to make a public speech on his apology for making what someone decided as an “unjust” reference to the homosexual community.

He’s a fucking comedian. He’s supposed to say random, senseless and to some, humorous things. It’s a waste of time asking a comedian to apologize for being themselves because its just fucking absurd.

My response-

Hes just being a comedian. A comedian’s job is to get a laugh with shock and awe at any moment. He wants to be as comfterble talking to US and america the same way he would around his friends and family. Comedy comes from the ability to be truly comfortable with oneself and when you are completely worry free you are able let things out and hope they are funny. If you are in constant fear of upsetting people you wont be funny, or as funny. A comedian needs to be able to say “I can say whatever and it’s accepted, funny or not”. Comedy is TRIAL and ERROR. A comedian will tell 10 unfunny jokes before he says a funny one.

Comedy is like playing darts, on stage, blind folded. You KNOW where the bullseye is, but you can’t see it. So you throw your comedy darts at the the board in the front of the stage and you FEEL the crowd. When they chuckle and laugh you know you are closer to the bullseye. Eventually you HIT IT and the crowd dies laughing. But sometimes you miss, and someone in the crowd gets stabbed with a dart. You didn’t mean to hurt that person, you were trying to make them laugh. That’s just how the comedy gig goes. My defense? They knew the darts were coming. Be prepared asshole.

Back to the Tracy Morgan, lets recreate the scenario that happened to him. Like, For example, (some asshole) “what if your son was gay man?” (Tracy Morgan) “man I would stab that kid” (haha) ok now this is were he expects more push for joke like “what if he was a crossdresser and not gay?” haha.. (then Tracy would respond with another outrageous Tracy Morgan typical response) but it never got that far. America went loopy over just the first part.

Hes just trying to be himself without worry of people taking him too seriously; like he knows his friends would’nt. People talk far more racist sounding and prejudice sounding with their friends then you would ever guess and 90% of it is just talk and joking and not expecting anyone to take them seriously. Grow up america.

It’s the same thing with racism and feminism, it’s all there.

They are trying to make the word ‘faggot’ a HATE word now, they have commercials DECLARING it a HATE word??!?!?!? WHAT THE FUCK… The gay community has moved forward so far in the passed 30 years to get beyond the descrimination of hate words. They, like the black community with the (oh no) N! word, have turned a word that initially MEANT “hate” and flipped it into something Positive. My one gay buddy used to make the comment about hott guys he thought was straight and say “look at that hottie” and then sigh.. and say to himself “silly faggot, dicks are for chicks”. Hahaha, he has a sense of humor and is comfterble with himself. THAT IS GREAT!

Just like how I can flirt with my straight guy friends and be comfterble with it even thought I’M STRAIGHT TOO. It’s called being comfterble with who you are. But no, they literally have commercials with that Hatespreader Wanda Sykes (who I used to love) trying to say “faggot” is a HATE word and we should treat it so. Why? WHY?? WHY ARE WE STEPPING BACKWARDS?? Stop trying to MAKE ‘faggot’ a HATE word. IT’S NOT ANYMORE WE HAVE MOVED SO FAR YOU FUCKING MORONS. A word only has HATE tied to it if you INTEND it too. If you do not have hate tied to the words you say but somone ATTACHED hate to it? THEY are the real prejiduce or racist or sexist one. Tracy morgan did not intend to mean harm and WE ALL KNEW THAT yet STILL we burned him at the stake “Just In Case”.

Listen people, don’t pipe up into adult conversations, debating what they say and fighting the BIG FIGHT “just in case” because you think they MIGHT be sexist or racist; its not your job to be fucking prejiduce police. The people I am talking about are the regular everyday people , NOT the media, news, etc etc..

I was at a friends house a long time ago and I made a joke about a Spongebob episode. Because in that episode it looked like Patrick was banging Spongebob from behind in the pink-starfruit hole, and I said “Yeah! Never new Spongebob was swinging like that with Patrick!”
